<title>18/5/2012 - Radar + Home Salvation + Bliss of the Outsider</title>
<link>http://www.manonthemoon.freeserve.co.uk/listings.htm#DETAILS2012-5-18</link>

<description>

Radar
 - Local 4 piece Radar has been around since mid 2011, enthralling crowds
of, literally, some people in venues in and around Cambridge.  Playing
original rock with a sound reminiscent of Dave Gilmour on bass, Eric Clapton
on drums and Steve Winwood with a nasty cold on vocals, you can be sure
of being able to hear it.  Although Radar is only a year old, the band
members have been around quite a bit longer.

Home Salvation (facebook.com/HomeSalvation)
 - Through the endless masses of mainstream, over hyped sh**ty nonsense classed
as &quot;Banging Tunes&quot; these days.
We&apos;re bringing back Rock and f**king Roll.

Bliss of the Outsider
 - Bliss Of The Outsider are a band from Sudbury in Suffolk playing music
ranging from punk, hardcore, thrash, hard rock, Nu-metal, Industrial and
metal.&lt;br>
However, all music composed in these variable rock/metal genres
will be met with the same intense and somewhat dark sound that Bliss Of
The Outsider have made their signature.

<title>18/8/2012 - Geno Washington and YoYo Blues</title>
<link>http://www.manonthemoon.freeserve.co.uk/listings.htm#DETAILS2012-8-18</link>
<guid>2002</guid>
<description>

Geno Washington and YoYo Blues (www.genowashington.com/)
 - The subject of Dexys Midnight Runners&apos; 1980 number one, Geno Washington
revisits the East Anglia of his US Air Force days, with an appearance at
Cambridge&apos;s Man on the Moon, as part of a number of dates on a UK tour.

Hugely
popular from impromptu performances at London Nightclubs, Geno took over
as frontman of the Ram Jam band, and went on to have two highly successful
live albums, &quot;Hand Clappin&apos; - Foot Stompin&apos; - Funky Butt - Live&quot; and &quot;Hipsters,
Flipsters and Finger Poppin&apos; Daddies&quot;, spending almost a year in the charts
in &apos;66-&apos;67.

Having built a cult mod following in the sixties along
with their Pye label-mates and rivals Jimmy James and the Vagabonds, Geno
is no stranger to these shores, headlining at Bedfordshire&apos;s Rhythm Festival
in 2010.

Now touring with Yoyo Blues and packing venues, don&apos;t miss
your chance to be immersed with the sax sound of the sixties and hits the
like of &quot;Jumpin&apos; Jack Flash&quot; and &quot;Do The Watusi&quot; at the &apos;Moon; small venue
atmosphere, with big venue sound quality.
